Lecture: How we can Celebrate Independence presented by: H.M.G.S. Palihakkara, Sri Lankan Ambassador to the United Nations.

Performances by Sri Lankan Americans will include tradtional Sri Lankan thovil, yaga, wannam, stage plays, Kandyan dances, devil dances, and more!

Exploring Sri Lanka Photo Exhibit

9:00pm FILM SCREENING: ABA directed by Jackson Anthony. The historical legend of King Pandukabhaya which took pace in Sri Lanka more than 2400 years ago. This film is the most expensive Sinhalese movie to date.
